E200-400 Note: The self-taught Alexandria artist Ralph Brewer was the managing editor of the Alexandria Town Talk newspaper. In 1945, Brewer had an exhibition of paintings at the Delgado Museum of Art (today NOMA) and the Roy O. Martin Fine Arts Building in Pineville.
