Robert M Rucker (American/Louisiana, 1932-2001), 'Favorite Scene', 1967, oil on canvas, signed lower right, sight 23.5in x 35.5in E4000- 6000 Provenance: The owner was a friend of the artist and in 1966 commissioned him to paint 'a favorite scene that he never had time to paint.' In a letter to the present owner, dated March 22, 1967, Rucker wrote that it was almost completed.
