Edinburgh, 1807, most James McKay; incl. 12 forks (l. 8 1/8 in.), 6 forks (l. 7 in.), 8 spoons (l. 8 7/8 in.), 7 spoons (l. 7 1/4 in.), 9 spoons (l. 5 3/8 in.), 1 egg spoon, sugar sifter ladle, cream ladle and master salt spoon; "Old English" pattern, monogramed en suite with script "M"; 46 pcs. total.

  • Provenance: Ida Manheim Antiques, 409 Royal St., New Orleans.
  • Dimensions: total weight 68.50 troy ozs.
  • Condition: Monogrammed as noted, except count incl. 4 "Old English" teaspoons, prob. George Smith (III) & William Fearn, 1793, entwined script monogram; and 1 teaspoon with rubbed marks and no monogram.
    Note some medium dents throughout. Master salt severely dented. Nicks, dings and scratches as expected with age and use.
