A Rare Set of Six Hyde & Goodrich Knives, New Orleans, wc. 1828-1861, each with high carbon steel blade marked "HYDE & GOODRICH/ NEW ORLEANS", and ivory handle, length 9 3/4 in.; together with six other carbon steel knives, length 9 1/4 in., and a later tole strongbox ; found en suite with prceding lot. Note: "estate" condition Provenance: Descended in an East Texas Family.
