(English, 1818-1874), 'Norman Cathedral Towns', a group of three oils, two (horizontal) on canvas, 10 in. x 14 in., and one (vertical) on artist's board, 15 in. x 11 in., two signed lower right and one signed lower left, in matching Louis XVI- style carved giltwood frames, bearing name plaques. E1500-2500 Provenance: Purchased by LSU Professor Edwin A. Davis and his artist wife LaVerna Rowe Davis, in Britain or Ireland, before 1977.
