The John Sitting Bull Quillwork Breast Plate, late 19th c., one piece deer or elk skin, wrapped with dyed porcupine quills, with applied glass beads and nickel-plated buttons, the edges having dyed feathers wrapped with tin cones, later additions include a mother-of-pearl button and a circular "diamond" paste encrusted belt buckle, enclosed in an inlaid mahogany presentation case, breast plate 19 in. x 10 in.
