Theodore Fonville Winans (American-Louisiana, 1911-1992), The Hunt vintage silver gelatin print, signed and dated 1938 lower right estate number PN 528, 16 in. x 20 in., unframed. E2800-3200 Note: The Anglo settlers of the Feliciana Parishes brought the tradition of foxhunting to the area. In 1939, Fonville Winans shot a series of photographs documenting the annual foxhunt.
