Provenance: Descended in a Baton Rouge Family Note: A favorite subject of Fonville Winans, Tony Kristicevich was among the Croatian immigrants who worked as oystermen in southern Louisiana. The photograph is illustrated in Cyril E. Vetter's book Fonville Winans' Louisiana: Politics, People, and Places, Baton Rouge: LSU Press, 1995, p. 104
