Two American Art Pottery Pieces, by Newcomb College artist Edith Emily d'Hemecourt Hibbard (active 1923-27), including a high glaze tile decorated with banana leaves and blossoms, pale blue and sea green underglaze; and a high glaze Buddha figure on a stepped base, steel gray and turquoise glaze, both pieces marked 'EH', tile 3.625in x 3.625in. x.5in., Buddha height 6.75in., width 5.75in., diameter 5. 75in. Note: These pieces are similar to pieces produced in Leona Nicholson's studio pottery and possibly were created there.
