Two American Pressed Glass Footed Salts, one 'Basket of Flowers and Rosette' pattern, c. 1835, the sides with central baskets, scrolls, and rosettes on a stippled ground, the ends having flowers similar to those used at Sandwich, the whole on splayed feet, length 3 in., see American Glass by McKearin, plate 168, together with an American amber pressed glass footed open salt, c. 1830, in the Classical taste with acanthus leaf decoration and scrolled corners, length 2.5 in., together with an American pressed glass ribbon pattern compote, c. 1850, probably by Bakewell, Pears, & Co. of Pittsburgh, with a shallow scalloped-edged circular bowl of clear and frosted glass upon a frosted dolphin-form standard, height 7.5 in., diameter 8.75 in.
