Two Chinese Glass Snuff Bottles, the first of spade form carved through the yellow-orange overlay to a bubble-suffused clear glass ground, stopper, height 2 3/4 in. Provenance: First acquired New York City, c. 1996; second acquired Chicago, c. 2003. Note : Small chip to rim; the second of transparent amber glass, stopper, height 2 5/8 in.; together with three enameled white glass snuff bottles, 20th c., each of flattened globular form with a tall flared neck and waisted oval foot ring, one with apocryphal Guyue Xuan mark, the other two with apocryphal Qianlong marks, each with stopper, heights 3 1/4 in., (5 pcs.)
