Two Chinese Spinach Green Jade Rectangular Plaques, the first deeply carved to one side with a figure riding a mule up a stair beneath a blossoming prunus, set in an incised white jade 'frame', height 4 in., width 2 in., raised in a reticulated wood stand, overall height 6 in.; the second carved to one side with plantain growing from rocks bedside a gilt incised inscription, the reverse with an insect and flowers, height 3 in., width 1 3/8 in.
