Two Japanese Hanging Scrolls, including Rinpa School (mid-19th c.), "Seasonal Flowers", ink, color and gold on silk with tarashikomi technique, singed "Hoitsu" middle left, sealed middle left (possibly a spurious Sotatsu seal), and inscribed lower left beneath a patch of flaking gold (possibly the artist's gilding instructions), 47 in. x 20 in., Note: condition; and Shijo School (early 20th c.), "Duck Beneath Narcissus Covered with Snow", ink, color and gofun on silk signed and sealed lower right, inscribed upper left, 35 1/2 in. x 13 in., Note: condition; each with a Japanese wooden storage box.
