Two Pairs of Chinese Embroidered Silk Sleeve Bands, early 20th c., the first pair with bats flanking a central peony blossom, worked in knot and satin stitch on a cream silk ground, sewn together, sight 19 1/2 in. x 9 in; the second pair with crabs, butterflies and bats amid peonies and foliage, worked in satin stitch on a pale blue ground, sewn together, sight 19 3/4 in. x 8 3/4 in., framed alike.
