William Hawkins (American/Kentucky, 1895-1990), "Miscka", oil on plywood, initialed, titled and dated "12-3-94" lower right, 24 in. x 24 in., unframed. E1200-1800 Note: As part of the education programs held in conjunction with "Passionate Visions" organized by the New Orleans Museum of Art, several of the artists were invited to the museum to participate in various educational programs and lectures. The well known Kentucky artist William Hawkins created the painting "Miscka" in the grand hall of the museum at the request of a private collector.
