  • Provenance: Provenance: Acquired from the artist. Note: After a brief career in Minor League Baseball, William Arnold moved to Louisiana to work in the oil and gas industry. Always interested in painting, Arnold traveled to New Orleans to visit with the many talented artists that congregated in the French Quarter including Clarence Millet and Knute Heldner. Upon retiring, Arnold enrolled in the John McCrady School of Art located on Bourbon Street and began painting full time. Still life scenes and views of cabins in the bayous of Southern Louisiana were among his favorite subjects.
