Robinson moved to Biloxi, MS in 1937 following the closing of the Old Lyme Art Colony in Connecticut where he had spent the previous decades. A true American Impressionist, Robinson applied his skills to depicting the environs of his new home town and produced a notable body of work of scenes in and around Biloxi.
