Veronica Cross is the Consignments Administrator at Neal Auction. Raised in New York and New Orleans, she has continued her family’s traditions of working with art, antiques, and material culture. In the visual arts, Veronica has exhibited her own art extensively, developed independent curatorial projects, and assisted in the studios of painter Stephanie Rose and master printer Kathy Caraccio in New York City. Veronica also worked as a private dealer in the Northeast, selling antiques, art, and vintage clothing. She consolidated her New York undergraduate credits into a BA in Art and Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Southern Maine and afterwards, earned her MFA at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Returning to New Orleans, Veronica managed estate sales and exhibited her artwork. Her current trajectory outside of Neal Auction includes writing and publishing articles on arts and culture, maintaining the archives of photographer Gervaise Soeurouge, and hosting a local music and arts radio show.
