A Boston Coin Silver Cann, Jones, Shreve, Brown & Co., wc. 1857-1860, incised mark "Jones, Shreve, Brown & Co." in arc, above "Boston" above "Pure Silver Coin" in a complementary arc, on bottom, slightly tapered cylindrical form with molded lip and foot bands, leafy floral and shell repousse forming a reserve opposite hollow cast scroll handle and engraved "M", height 4.875in., weight 7 troy ozs., 3 dwts.
