A Fine Berlin Porcelain Cabinet Cup, c. 1815-1830, the acanthus-decorated handle applied to the flaring cann with gilded anthemion frieze, the central reserve painted with a view of the Prussian Opera House, inscribed "Das neue Schauspielhaus in Berlin", the underside marked with underglaze blue date mark and overglaze red-brown factory mark of KPM, plus an unidentified painter's mark, height 5 1/2 in., diameter 3 5/8 in.
