A Fine French Gilt Bronze and Champlevé Enamel Oval Jardiniere in the Louis XVI Taste, late 19th century the handles formed by caryatid figures holding garlands and with large masks on the sides, the body encircled by a band of scroll and foliate designs worked in champlevé enamel on a green ground, and the whole on an elaborate base incorporating Greek key moldings, hoofed feet, and foliate designs, height 22 in., width 15 in., length 21 in.
