A Fine Pair of American Rococo Carved Rosewood and Rosewood Grained "Multi Form" Tables, c. 1850, attributed to Charles Baudouine, New York, convertible to center table, pair of consoles and a pair of foldover games tables; serpentine top, shaped apron with drawer, cabriole legs comprised of opposing C scrolls; gate legs closing to form an urn shaped central support with stretchers, height 30 1/2 in., width 46 1/2 in., depth 33 1/2 in.

  • Notes: Note: This lot is identical to a "multi-form" rosewood table bearing the stenciled mark of Charles Baudouine (wc. 1829-1856) purchased in 1852 by J. Watson Williams and installed in his Utica mansion, Fountain Elms, now in the Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute. Another table nearly identical to this lot is in the Bayou Bend Collection, Houston.
