A Nigerian Yoruba Bronze Ogboni Figure of a Hunter, the standing male figure modeled wearing a cap, neck ring and short leggings, carrying a blade in one hand and an animal in the other, height 8 7/8 in.
PLEASE NOTE: Provenance: Acquired by William W. Hodges of Kokomo, IN, mid-1960s, while developing teacher training schools at the University of Njala, Sierra Leone.
