A Pair of Gilt Bronze and Cut Crystal Argand Lamps, c. 1825, the burner with the label of Lewis Veron and Co., Philadelphia, each foliate bulbous standard supporting a branch issuing an oil burner holding a later etched glass shade, and surmounted by a cut glass font, on a circular pedestal and square plinth, and later marble plinth, electrified, with restorations, height: 21 in. Note: Lewis Veron and Co. were decorators for the White House during the Andrew Jackson administration.
