A Pair of Regency Gilt and Patinated Bronze Single-Light Argand Lamps, early 19th c., attributed to Messenger & Son, London, each with "Warwick Vase" font, standard with relief molded wreath, circular plinth, etched glass shade and chimney, height 20 1/4 in., width 14 1/2 in., depth 7 1/2 in.
Note: An original illustration in "Messenger & Son, Art Journalism, 1846", describes the basis of the fonts as derived from Piranesi's "Warwick Vase".
