Two American Queen Anne Carved Maple Side Chairs, mid-18th c., Massachusetts, each with vasiform splat, chamfered stiles and rear legs, shaped seat rail, cabriole legs, turned and blocked stretcher.
Provenance: Acquired from John Walton, Inc., CT, 1982.
Note: One chair with plaque engraved "This chair belonged to James Leeds, 1777-1846".
