A Set of Three Japanese Porcelain Octagonal Nesting Bowls, decorated to each facet with a diaper roundel on alternating blue and red grounds, bases with four character marks, heights 3 in., 2 1/2 in. and 2 1/8 in., widths 8 1/4 in., 7 1/4 in., and 5 3/4 in.
- Provenance: Provenance : Estate of Merle Tennyson Montjoy (1920-2008), sold for the benefit of the Mississippi Museum of Art.
