A Very Fine French Faïence Covered Beaker Jar and Matching Plate, c. 1750, Moustiers, the jar with full underglaze sepia mark of Olerys and Laugier (with associated letter "A"), décor à grotesques, in delicate tones of orange, ochre green and blue, the deep plate with finely painted orange and green border bands, jar height 6 3/4 in., diameter 5 in.; plate diameter 10 in.
