A Very Rare American Rococo Patinated and Gilt Bronze Four-Arm Gasolier, mid-19th c., attributed to Cornelius & Baker, Philadelphia, fitted with a foliate cornice, tubular gilt and patinated stems, the center dome with a patinated figure of Benjamin Franklin, scrolled foliate arms, base with gilt flowers and flame pendant drops, later electrification, original gilt and patination, gas jets appear to be intact, Greek key and portrait medallion etched shades, height 33 in., diameter 28 in.
