An American Classical Carved Mahogany, Gilded, Stenciled and Ebonized Pier Table, early 19th c., New York, original marble top above ebonized, fruit and nut stenciled frieze with a basket of flowers at each corner and banded stenciled edge, gilded Doric columns to the front, mirrored back flanked by pilasters, incurvate banded plinth, bracketed acanthine paw feet, height 37 3/4 in., width 42 in., depth 18 1/8 in. Note : Marble inscribed with a name and "Pokepsie[sic], NY".
