An American Classical Giltwood Overmantel Mirror, c. 1820-30, attributed to Isaac Platt, New York, with fleur de lis corners, colonette stiles and an original tripartite mirror plate, original backboards, height 32.5in., width 72 in., depth 2.5in. Note: A pier mirror bearing Isaac Platt's label and having nearly identical stiles is part of the collection of the Munson Williams Proctor Institute, and is illustrated in Anna Tobin D'Ambrosio, Masterpieces of American Furniture.
