An American Mahogany and Gilt Bronze-Mounted Center Table of Louis XVI Inspiration, c. 1865, probably New York, the rectilinear top above a narrow frieze, the canted columnar support decorated with gilt bronze moldings and joined by cruciform brackets and plinth mounted by rosettes on blocked feet and patented American casters, note: under side bears old black inscription "Allen 49363".
