An American Rococo Laminated and Carved Rosewood Sofa, attributed to J. & J.W. Meeks, with a pierced, rocaille carved scrolled back, featuring a central floral and acanthus cartouche, low arms, serpentine carved seat rail, cabriole legs ending in casters. E8000/12000 Provenance: Nashville's Belle Meade Plantation. Also exhibited at the Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art.
