An Indonesian Carved Stone Effigy Torso, probably 15th c. or earlier, Java, oval form with flat back side, carved and incised with facial features, plaited raised hair, and neck and waist ornaments, the arms and hands stylistically flattened against the abdomen, height 11 1/2 in., wood box.
