A Chinese Dingyao White Glazed Porcelain Tripod Bowl, probably Song Dynasty (960-1279), thickly potted squat U-form body with short foot ring raised on three applied mask-head feet, the white glazed exterior carved with concentric bands, height 2 1/2 in., diameter 7 1/4 in Provenance: Acquired c. 1920s-1930s; thence by descent in the family of Madelyn Cohn Cahn Conne Kiam Kreisler (b. 1890, New Orleans - d. 1975, New York).
