A Pair of Chinese Sancai Glazed Pottery Roof Tiles, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), each modeled as a male figure seated astride an open-mouthed mythical fish raised on an undulating wave over an arched base, overall yellow, green and brown glaze, height 10 3/4 in., width 12 in Provenance: Acquired c. 1920s-1930s; thence by descent in the family of Madelyn Cohn Cahn Conne Kiam Kreisler (b. 1890, New Orleans - d. 1975, New York).
