Redmond/FOR BEST/T.R. MARE & COLT/4 YEARS OLD/'FAIRY QUEEN'/1863", height 8 1/4 in., weight 10.45 troy ozs Note: The Sacramento Daily Union of October 3, 1863 reports that J.B. Redmond of Marin County won first premium for best colt and mare four years for "Fairy Queen" as well as first premium for suckling colt for "Knight St. Patrick".
