[Early New Orleans Businessman Archive] A Sixth-Plate Daguerreotype of Mr. James Waters Zacharie (Baltimore, 1797- New Orleans, 1870), by E. Jacobs, New Orleans, c. 1850-1855, separated paper case with embossed floral motif, paper label bearing sitter's name, overall size, 3 3/4 in. x 3 1/4 in.; together with a print based on the photograph with facsimile signature, two State of Texas Cotton bonds, 1863, shares in the People's Telegraph Line (Louisville & New Orleans), 1857 and a contract to grow cotton on a plantation, 1866, six items.
