Provenance: Estate of John McCrady Note: From 1936 to 1941, John McCrady worked in the Federal Art Project of the Works Progress Administration. With the advent of World War II, the Federal Art Project was reorganized into the Graphic Section of the War Service Program in 1942. Under this program, McCrady was assigned to design four posters that were distributed as part of the war effort. It is rare to be able to locate the complete set of McCrady's war posters, especially in this exceptional condition.
