  • Notes: Note: Considered one of the finest watercolorists to come from the Boston area, John Whorf began painting at an early age, instructed by his father, artist Harry Whorf. After an accident at age 18, Whorf began traveling and painting the scenes that he discovered in Portugal, Morocco, and France, including the charming Northern French village road depicted here.
