  • Notes: Note: Born in Minnesota, Jimmy Ille (1920-1999) learned how to play the cornet from his stepfather when he was just six years old. In the early 1970s as a bandmaster for a circus, he met his future wife Kay Frances, a gifted acrobat performer. Leo Meirsdorff's painting celebrates the release of the album "The Jimmy Ille New Orleans Ragtime Band: The Second Line."
