Leonard Volk (American, 1828-1895), "Abraham Lincoln Holding the Emancipation Proclamation", bronze with richly variegated chestnut and deep brown patina, the circular bronze self-base inscribed "Copyright by/ Leonard W. Volk, 1891"; on later circular black marble socle, height 33 in., rests on a circular 2 in. marble black plinth, weight 90 pounds. E4000-5000 Note: Volk cast the death mask of Lincoln.
