Tennessee Williams 1911-1983 A Perfect Analysis Given by a Parrot. Play. Type script, 11 unnumbered one page numbered 22 double- spaced manuscript pages containing pencil corrections and revisions in Williams' hand. An early incomplete draft type script. The original title "The Sensitive Nature" is crossed out with pencil and the eventual title is appended in pencil. The work is also subtitled A Sketch for Marionettes , contains an outline and Tennessee Williams istyped at the bottom of the final page. Note: A Perfect Analysis of a Parrot first appeared in Esquire Magazine, October, 1958 It was subsequently published by the Dramatist's Play Service in 1961 and later . It also appears Dragon Country, A Book of Plays by Williams originally published in 1970 by New Directions.
