Tennessee Williams TLS. Two pages from Liebling-Wood, dated February 15, 1945, signed Audrey Audrey Wood, Williams representative , to Williams at the Sherman Hotel, Chicago, regarding the "motion picture" rights of the The Glass Menagerie and instructing Williams ".. under no circumstances to talk to anybody, either agent or motion picture executive, about any kind of a price or deal on the motion picture rights or any other rights of this property." The letter further discusses the publication rights, mentions Bennett Cerf and comments that the radio show "This is my Best" is interested in Glass Menagerie although she has other radio programs in mind that will probably pay a higher fee. Letter appears to have been crumpled-up as if to be discarded.
