Four Plays one act The latter lacking page 1 of 14, the others consisting of 11, 14 and26 pages respectively: each being double- spaced manuscripts and being mounted together in blue Liebling-Wood folder. Hello From Bertha containing revisions in Williams hand. Ref. Crandell, A2, A6 E2500- 3500 Note: Moony's Kid Don t Cry and The Dark Room together with The Ease of the Crushed Petunias not here present were submitted to a competition in 1939 at the "Group Play Contest". Under the Collective title of American Blues they were awarded a special E100 prize by the Judges. This was really the first occasion that Tennessee Williams received truly professional recognition.
